Cardio Dance
Wednesdays 18:00 – 19:00 – open class (lessons are across levels, primarily focused on building physical fitness)
The Cardio Dance class is a dynamic and energetic workout that combines elements of dance choreography and cardio exercises. Participants learn various dance steps and sequences synchronized with music, which helps improve cardiovascular health, increase endurance, and burn calories. These classes are led in a fun way with positive and modern music and are motivating and suitable for all levels. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you will focus on improving your fitness through dance, so you won’t even realize you’re strengthening your body and burning excess calories.
Who are the lessons suitable for?
The class is designed for all adults who want to improve their physical fitness, burn calories, and have fun while doing it. Classes are ideal for anyone looking for an active form of relaxation, loves music and dance, and doesn’t need to have previous dance experience.
What our lessons are like
Lesson length: 60 minutes
Lesson structure:
- warm – up (5 – 10 min)
- Light dance movements and dynamic stretching to increase heart rate and prepare muscles for more intense exercise.
- Main part (40 – 50 min)
- Dance sequences (usually with different combinations of dance styles focused on cardio). The exercise takes place to rhythmic music and includes repetition of steps, which improves coordination, endurance, and calorie burning.
- Cool down (5 – 10 minutes)
- Relaxing movements, slowing down the tempo, and light stretching to return to a normal heart rate.
What to bring
- bottle of water
- comfortable clothing – usually sweatpants, t-shirt/crop top, sweatshirt
- sneakers with light-colored soles that do not leave marks
