Street dance

Friday 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM (in English) – open class – beginner

Street dance is a term encompassing a wide range of dance styles that originated outside of traditional dance studios in urban environments. These styles often developed on the streets, in parks, clubs, and community centers, relying heavily on culture and social interaction. Street dance includes various forms, the most well-known of which are hip hop, breakdance, popping, locking, house dance, krump, and others. Street dance classes are dynamic and fun. They are not only physically challenging but also very inspiring and motivating. They are suitable for various skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers. An important aspect is also the community and social dimension, as street dance often originated and developed within communities and includes sharing and mutual support.

Who teaches this lesson

Anna

My classes are not only about technique and movement – they’re also about expression, connection, and growing together. I teach in English, because I believe it’s essential in today’s international dance world – and a great opportunity to build a strong, open, and global community here at Harmony Dance Studio. I’m looking forward to meeting you in class, inspiring each other, and dancing our hearts out – while maybe improving your English along the way, too!
