Dance preparation 4 – 6 years

Children aged 4 to 6 are in a period where they begin to acquire their first movement and body habits. Therefore, our courses are specially adapted to their developmental needs. Instructors work with children very sensitively and individually, considering their temperament, abilities, and current concentration. Each lesson is structured into shorter sections that help maintain children’s attention and promote a natural interest in movement. There are frequent short breaks and playful dance activities that lighten the lesson and develop creativity and coordination. We emphasize the correct execution of basic exercises, posture, and conscious work with movement. All of this is essential at this age for healthy physical development, motor skills development, and building a positive relationship with movement. Our goal is for children to enjoy the joy of dance while naturally acquiring healthy habits that help them grow into strong and confident individuals.

Who is the lesson suitable for?

The lesson is suitable for all children aged 4-6, including children with imbalances, who love movement and music in any way. The entire lesson is accompanied by energetic music, selected for this age category. This is a comprehensive course in which individual lessons build on each other, so children are constantly improving in repeating, as well as new, movements.

What awaits your children during the lessons throughout the course:

Lesson length: 45 min – The reason is better attention and its maximum use for the child’s development.

The lesson is divided into several shorter parts:

  • dance warm-up
  • working in groups and spatial awareness
  • technical exercises (left/right synchronization; leg/arm)
  • choreographic part (dance and movement memory)

What to bring

  • bottle of water
  • comfortable clothing – sweatpants/leggings, t-shirt/tank top/crop top
  • we dance barefoot or in socks
  • hair tie
